Ok so this team Natural Hair thing has been going on for a while *rolling my h-eyes*.. Ermmm, Please, No one should come telling me how I should go back to my African roots and turn natural abeg.. You are Natural, good for you. Congratulations but do not drag me into it. I love my weave HAIR. This #teamnaturalhair on twitter and all is just pure BS.. Totally uncalled for. Go natural if you want to,for healthy hair or fashion reasons, its your Hair Sister and Ill respect that but Do not come around telling me how I have lost my African roots because I chose to relax my hair. shoooo, is it your hair??? Its Gennyyyy

I like Genevieve a lot. I have heard a lot of "she is rude and arrogant" comments from people but I still love her. Look at that, Now that's a babe Celebrity. One of Naija's best in my opinion. She is too on point Jare. 9.999999/10!!!! To add to it, she is BEAUTIFUL. Once I see Genevieve in a movie, I can be 8/10 sure the movie would make sense.

My true feelings?

Happy valentines day to those who care! I really do not like people wishing me happy vals day :). Its not a public holiday so why so special? God knows if I didn't have classes on Valentines day, then Ill accept all the wishes. :).Reading week can like to come already.
So I was thinking about letting out your true feelings. I DO NOT like telling people how I feel.maybe I don't know how I feel. But does this mean I just bottle up all my feelings? Maybe I have no feelings really? or maybe I am scared of letting them out? I doubt the last is true tho. I am not an extrovert,not an introvert either. I talk a lot (too much sometimes). But I just realized I could have a long conversation with someone without mentioning anything about myself.
Ok, back on letting out feelings, Is it ok to let out all your true feelings? Or are we (humans) just supposed to let of feelings of love? what about hatred? How do we even know how we feel really? oo well...

On to the next note, I didn't read my bible last week *covers face* and I didn't realize this till the end of the week. It felt like the holyspirit wasn't with me anymore(I know this was not the case). I felt horrible and empty and in church yesterday, all I could say was sorry Jesus, I know I did backslide but I'm getting back . You see, whenever I don't go to church on a Sunday for reasons I could control.I feel horrible all through the week. I wonder if I am the only one that feels this way. Oo well, Dear God, please forgive me, cleanse me and give me the grace to go through this week. Protect my family-(extended and church family included), friends and well wishers. I know the holyspirit is always with me.

She does Not deserve you?

So I was sitting on the bus yesterday and this guy (lets call him A) came in with his girlfriend (we will call her G). The conversation goes like this

A- My baby just died during the delivery.( He was talking to everyone on the bus!)

Someone on the bus- OO sorry about that. are you to mother?

G- No, I wish. then the baby would have been alive. You know A the only things that ties the cord around a baby's neck is either because the mum is on drugs and alcohol or she is stressed

A- she doesn't do no drugs

G- well, I guess she was stressed.

A- No, all she did was stay home. I did all the shopping, cleaning, cooking so I am sure she wasn't stressed.

G- Well, it must have been drugs then, she is not the right woman for you..GBAM!

I was listening to this conversation and I just couldn't get why G was trying to convince A that the mother of his dead baby is on drugs.G herself looks like she is sniffing a little something. Some women eh, leave the man alone, how do you know who is right for him. You? oo please! Get over yourself!!

BTW, downtown is creepy!!!

#Life at UWO 1

-I do not like UCC stairs and no I am not going to use the elevator-too slow!!! Ironic?

-9.30 am classes do not work for neither do night classes.

-North Campus building is too far!! When there is a fire alarm there, there is no building nearby so you just have to stand outside in the COLD!

-UCC Hill- Not a fan!!

-Weldon- 2 minutes there and you see 10 people you know, there goes your studying.

-Dancing in the ucc and people asking you keep it low because they are studying, Its the University community centre not the library.

-You sit down at the front row in class just to watch a movie? why come at all?

But we all love western.:)

Likes and Dislikes

So,If you have every read SUN newspaper from Nigeria, you must have come across SUN girl. For those who don't know, Its this section of the paper where they interview a girl. So for the likes and dislikes section in the interview, their answers are always the same.
Like- Honesty, loyalty, obedience, politeness.... blah blah bla
Dislikes:(This is my best).. Dishonesty, liars, cheaters, selfish people blah blah blah.
Anyway, I am just wondering why their likes and dislikes are always the same. If we all liked and hated the same thing, why then is the world not so peaceful and boring?!?!

Midterms soon so y'all know how it is.
Anyway,This is a poem We read in my English class. It was written by William Blake.

I was angry with my friend:
I told my wrath, my wrath did end.
I was angry with my foe:
I told it not, my wrath did grow.

And I watered it in fears
Night & morning with my tears;
And I sunned it with smiles,
And with soft deceitful wiles.

And it grew both day and night,
Till it bore an apple bright.
And my foe beheld it shine,

So it got me thinking about anger and what not. Sometimes we get angry at people and we are mad at them for so long that we even forget why we are mad at them.
Personally, I don't stay mad at people, I go with the first line of this poem.Be you my friend or not, Ill let you know when you annoy me or Ill just let it slide if its not necessary.
But you know eh, some people's personality eh, I just do not understand. Its funny how One person can be filled with so much stupidity. But then again, some people never change so why stay mad at them? Just ignore foolishness and move on.

So my people, lets learn to forgive quickly so you don't end up killing or doing something you will regret like the poet said.
Its hard to forgive but you can try. Rant about it to someone else!-It helps!.

Moving on..... So yea, some animals Humans just don't know what to say sometimes. Some statements made by people just makes you marvel. You know that *No, you didn't just say that moment?* Please, if you are one of those people that don't think before talking PLEASE STOP! Its annoying and embarrassing too. Think before you speak. If the statement doesnt make sense in your head it probably really doesnt make any sense so please just keep it in. Please (I'm very polite ;)..), Don't tell a girl who just got raped it might have been her fault! Like seriously?? The fact that you have a brain is enough to let you know certain statements are not good when heard! So please keep it in your mind!. Thank you.

Anyway, just felt I should write something. On a brighter note, Remember all your loved ones in your prayers (Including meeeee).

Facebook manners

So on facebook today someone's status was - I HATE MY LIFE, I HAD A HORRIBLE DAY, NOTHING EVER SEEMS TO BE RIGHT WITH ME". And some people liked the status.

It got me thinking oo..Why would you like that? you like the fact that your friend had a horrible day? or the fact that your friend has a messy life or you just do not know how to use the like button? SMH.. After thinking oo, I came to the conclusion that we need a new course -Social networking manners"..LOL! Think about it, so many people would benefit from this cuz the way people have been misbehaving on facebook isn't funny anymore. They lack facebook manners ( yes there is something like that).haha..

People just don't know how to use the resources provided on facebook. I mean, inbox is there for a reason, Do not come on my wall asking me if the underwear we got at d mall fits me or not? like seriously?? somethings do not belong to the wall. Infact eh, too many things are wrong with people on facebook that is why we need this course.

PUH-Lease, I beg you in the name of whatever you believe in, do not add me on facebook just because I wrote on your friends wall, do I know you? the fact that we have a mutual friend doesnt make us friends oo biko,ejo, abeg!..
Ermm, how is it affecting you that I update my status 100 times a day? eh, its not by force to read it oo.But some status updates need an I DO NOT CARE button.
Please stop insulting your ex bf on facebook putting up status like (I am better than your ex and your next)..Abeg go to bed..You will insult the boy today, tomorrow you are in a relationship with him again- Take your drama somewhere else, facebook is not a gollywood movie.

If you add me on facebook and I do not accept, please oo, abeg, do not inbox me asking me why I didn't accept you and how I am soo rude, I beg you to add me ?? Why do I have to explain it to you that I do not know you? Anyhoo, moving on...So you have your full name, address, email addresses, house adress, mobile number, house #, school, your major etc. mehn Seriously? whats all the information for? and later you will start complaining that you have been getting calls from random people? please go sit your ass down! .

Faith

I want to share my word from Joel and Victoria Osteen with you today.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”
(Hebrews 11:1, KJV).
The Bible says that faith gives substance to the things you hope for. In other words, faith brings those things into your life. Notice this verse starts by saying, “Now faith...” It’s not “later” faith or “one day” faith. It’s faith for today, right now.

So, what does it mean to have “now” faith? The basic definition of faith, according to the Bible, is simply believing in God’s goodness and believing that He rewards the people who seek after Him. It’s taking His Word as truth — right now. Can you believe that God wants to move in your life, today? Do you believe He can provide for your need, today? Do you believe He can heal your relationship, today? Do you believe He can give you that promotion, today?

Whatever you are hoping for, open your heart and expect that God is working on your behalf, right now. Dare to believe that God will come through for you, today. Stand strong and declare that the victory is yours, now! Let your words put action behind your “now” faith and receive His strength and power to see victory in every area of your life .

I don't know about you but I haven't really analysed this bible verse this way so I learnt something new today :)..Whatever it is you are waiting on God for, Just know he will do it!

Its all gone

I thought I was a super woman, could control everything around me, I've got this I would say to myself. I gotta think with my head. Miss I can do it bad all by myself. O hey! there you are- My heart is beating fast, I am trying so hard not to smile but its not working! what is going on? I am not supposed to like you! Whats WRONG? I have got this I know, I have it under control but no, I love you, I pray for you but you don't know.

Should I tell you I like you? what do I have to loose? what if you feel the same ? whats if you feel the opposite?--- Why are my thoughts complicated? why cant I just come up to you and say hey I like you.Its as simple as that but not so simple in my head..

Noooo, I would break, I would hurt if you do not feel the same but I am still hurting so why not tell you? Maybe something good would come out of this? maybe not?

Should I just call you, close my eyes and say what I have to say? ooh no maybe text you, bbm? fcbk? email? letter? I don't know, its all complicated in my head. Should I live in denial? No, I don't like you but I do? OOH No, I cant live in denial, I have to say this, I have to do what I have to do. OR You can keep your feelings to yourself! what if you die tomorrow or I die, I would live with the guilt of not letting you know what you mean to me. No, I cant-Its not working. I don't wanna burst so I will just let you know how I feel!

My life Time

Its late, I should be sleeping but I can't. I am too busy wondering thinking about LIFE. Trying to understand certain feelings and things that happen around us.

How do you explain that you were born and rejected by your parents or not?..
How does a little girl/boy explain that he/she was abused by the babysitter/parents?
How come you don't get to choose your family?
How is it your fault that your parents are divorced?
How is it your fault that you are not good looking?
How is it your fault that you were born into an unstable family?
How is it your fault that you lost your parents when you needed them the most?
How is it your fault that you were raped?,
How is it your fault that you head is big?
How is it your fault that your forefathers brought some generational curses into the family?

I could go on and on but I'll stop.
You see, everyday I wonder about life . Mine and that of others! Some situations we couldn't control or can't control. trying to get a clear meaning of life but you know what? Not everything has a clear meaning,life is just about living without knowing what is going to change.But you know what you can do? you can make the best out of every moment in life. Stop controlling life, just live IT!! Because truly, that's all we can do.
I mean, if we could actually control our lives, who would choose to be blind? We just have to be thankful to God every moment because no matter how bad the situation seems, it could be worse! Lets stop stressing over meaningless issues like keeping grudges and hating. The friend you are angry with might die tomorrow and you do not want to live with the guilt.


My point is NOBODY KNOWS TOMORROW! Learn to appreciate your life, be grateful, forgive quickly, smile everyday, impact someone and just remain positive.

Life is like a library owned by the author.In it are a few books which he wrote for himself but most of them were written for him. HEF

Save your self the time because time is money. what is it about Jan 1st that would suddenly bring change into your life? please lets leave resolutions to primary school pupils kids. Just live the good life! enjoy every single day you see because it might be your last day-Yes that's reality.
